Can eating large amounts be dangerous or not?
The US Food and Drug Administration or FDA recommends that taking a dose of 2,000 mg per day is safe. But while the European Food Safety Organization (EFSA) recommends that taking a daily dose of 5,000 mg per day is safe.
Currently, it is found that eating more than 5,000 milligrams of omega-3 fatty acids a day, the body does not have any more benefits than before.
So it can be concluded that eating omega-3s is not a formal recommendation. The choice to eat depends on the purpose of each benefit for the body, because the dose of the eating will vary.
